Job description

The ISV Customer Engineer role at Google Cloud focuses on enabling and managing partnerships with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). This position involves collaborating with Partner Development Managers and ISV Sales Specialists to enhance the Google Cloud partner ecosystem. The engineer will leverage their technical expertise to support partners in delivering solutions that drive customer adoption of Google Cloud services. The role requires strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders and facilitate technical discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud architecture including designing and building architectures in cloud environments and in a partner-facing or support role.
  • Experience working with an ISV in architect or delivery roles providing solutions to end customers.
  • Experience with security and compliance technologies such as Palo Alto Networks, Crowdstrike, and Wiz.
  • Experience with building business partnerships with enterprise ISVs and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Enable and manage Google ISV partnerships, acting as product experts on ISV offers and their real-world applications.
  • Support partners in proof of concepts and demos of ISV product integrations in customer environments.
  • Identify and recruit ISVs in the region who can deliver solutions to customers.
  • Build ISV solution-focused technical assets and recommend integration strategies.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop GCP specific solution documentation, joint technical articles, webinars, and whitepapers.
