The Senior Software Engineer role focuses on developing calibration algorithms and platforms within the Calibration and System Test (CaST) team at Google. This team is dedicated to bridging XR hardware with seamless user experiences, particularly in the context of the 'Glasses + AI' era. The engineer will work on creating intelligent calibration services and pioneering AI-driven calibration systems. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content.
- Triage product or system issues and debug, track, and resolve them.
