Job description
The Data Architect role at Intel involves joining the Corporate Planning Group Data and Analytics team to drive insights and analytics for the organization. The successful candidate will engage in data analysis, requirements gathering, and report development while ensuring data quality and governance. This position requires effective communication with both technical and business stakeholders as the company transitions to new systems. The role emphasizes a comprehensive understanding of data and its applications in various business contexts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field with 5+ years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Proficiency in query languages, particularly SQL.
- Experience in Python, Advanced SQL, Azure, Snowflake, and/or Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience working with data used for demand planning, supply planning, procurement, sales and marketing, manufacturing, finance, and/or product master data.
Responsibilities
- Drive in-depth business data analysis to understand the origin, flow, and meaning of data.
- Prototype data and reporting solutions to document and hand off data requirements to IT development teams.
- Design and deliver innovative analytical reporting solutions based on standardized data definitions.
- Partner with IT and subject matter experts to create and deploy effective data quality monitors.
- Lead or support UAT execution for newly developed or enhanced data integration and reporting solutions.
- Establish and follow stabilization and production support SLAs for reporting artifacts.
- Drive data integration and BI/reporting capabilities to support program requirements.
- Provide inputs to evolve the team's data architecture and strategy aligned with business priorities.
