Job description

The Portfolio Enterprise Support Specialist role is a client-facing position within the PORT Enterprise Support team in San Francisco. The specialist will support sophisticated buy-side institutions by partnering with portfolio managers and analysts to maximize the value of Bloomberg's Portfolio & Risk Analytics solution. A strong understanding of financial markets and portfolio analytics is essential for addressing complex analytical questions. The role emphasizes building trusted relationships and ensuring operational stability for clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services or a financial technology company
  • Experience of Fixed Income and other financial instruments, associated cash-flows, and analytics
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical skills to evaluate problems and provide solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree or degree equivalent qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Build a comprehensive understanding of the features and capabilities of the portfolio product offering.
  • Troubleshoot issues pertaining to the PORT Enterprise product while assessing potential business impact.
  • Understand and support clients on methodologies inquiries around portfolio performance, attribution, and risk.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities to introduce best practices and new processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate extensively with Portfolio Implementation, Sales, and Engineering teams to improve client experience.
