Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer to join their Environment Resiliency team in the United States. This position is ideal for a dynamic individual looking for career growth in environmental consulting. The role involves assisting Project Managers with environmental investigation, remediation, and permitting projects while overseeing junior-level staff. The team focuses on delivering sustainable solutions to complex environmental challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an appropriate area of science
- 2 or more years of relevant science experience
- Substantial progress made toward achieving professional accreditation status or equivalent
- Detailed knowledge of relevant national standards and codes of practice, including applicable state and federal regulations
Responsibilities
- Evaluate data to support conceptual site models for environmental investigations and delineate the nature and extent of contamination.
- Develop CERCLA Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, and other required supporting documents in collaboration with a team.
- Prepare and review technical documents and proposals while addressing client and regulatory comments.
- Prepare cost estimates to support establishing project budgets and evaluating subcontractor proposals.
- Coordinate all aspects of subcontractor tasks including scheduling, logistics, health, and safety.
