The Senior Software Engineer role within the Scale and Partner AI Experiences (SPAI) organization focuses on designing and shipping core components of the agentic sales platform. This team is dedicated to transforming Microsoft’s sales ecosystem through AI-first innovation, aiming to enhance partner and customer success. The engineer will take ownership of features from prototype to production, working on various aspects such as orchestration and observability. This position is ideal for someone with a strong bias for action and experience in building with AI technologies.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with at least one of C#, TypeScript, or Python, and comfortable across all three.
• Demonstrated ability to own and ship significant features or architectural components end to end.
• 1+ year of experience shipping LLM-based or agent-based systems in production.
• Production experience with one or more major agent stacks such as Microsoft 365 Agents SDK or OpenAI Agents SDK.

• Design and build major components of the agentic sales platform, including orchestration and observability.
• Own components end to end, from prototype to production.
• Partner with AI Foundry and Microsoft Research to utilize shared primitives like agent SDKs.
• Contribute to the eval and Responsible AI standards for shipping agents in the Sales surface.
• Help raise the engineering bar through code and design reviews, as well as mentoring peers.
