Job description

The Senior Software Engineer role in the Ad SDK team focuses on designing and optimizing software development kits for advertising solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of browser internals and performance tuning, particularly using JavaScript and TypeScript. The engineer will collaborate globally to create cross-platform solutions that enhance the developer experience and ensure high standards for security and privacy. The team aims to tackle technical challenges and innovate within the ad-serving technology space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Solid understanding of browser internals, rendering pipelines, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Proven experience building SDKs or developer tools for large-scale platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a scenario.
  • Drives identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
  • Creates, implements, optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to establish and improve performance and maintainability.
  • Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guides other engineers by developing and following the playbook.
  • Proactively seeks new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns to improve product performance.
