Job description

The Senior Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineer will join Apple's Creativity Apps team to innovate in the creative editing tools space. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies in Generative AI and computational photography. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a diverse team of creatives, designers, and engineers to deliver impactful products. Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field.
  • 5+ years of significant industry experience in computational photography and machine learning.
  • Extensive knowledge in machine learning and deep learning techniques, particularly diffusion models and transformers.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning toolkits such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing products with computer vision or generative AI features.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate in the creative space.
  • Build, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models, including diffusion and GAN-based models.
  • Contribute to large codebases while ensuring high-quality software delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, from technical experts to non-technical stakeholders.
