Job description

The Vice President of Security Architecture at Fidelity Workplace Investment is responsible for defining and driving secure technology strategies to protect customer interactions across workplace products and platforms. This role involves close collaboration with architecture governance, product, engineering, and cybersecurity teams to enhance security posture and address emerging threats. The team focuses on securing customer identity, authentication, authorization, fraud mitigation, cloud security, and data privacy. The position requires strong leadership and technical vision to influence product roadmaps and guide secure integration across various systems.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in application security frameworks and secure development practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), including SSO and federation.
  • Hands-on experience with security protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, and SAML.
  • Solid understanding of network and edge security, including firewalls and WAF.
  • Proven track record of designing secure, scalable systems across modern architectures.
  • Experience in securing cloud environments, particularly AWS and/or Azure.
  • Expertise in application and API development using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in architecting distributed systems.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or AWS Security Specialty are preferred.
