Job description

This position involves designing and building large-scale production distributed systems to support public-facing websites. The role emphasizes leveraging infrastructure as code, test automation, and CI/CD practices to enhance automation processes. The focus is on creating innovative technical solutions across multiple projects and platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and three years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a related field and one year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, building, and supporting application and API solutions using a Java-based tech stack.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud-based application development and microservices implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
  • Design applications or subsystems on major projects for multiple platforms.
  • Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
  • Assist in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications.
  • Establish project plans for projects of moderate scope.
  • Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
