The Senior Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineer will join Apple's Creativity Apps team to innovate in creative editing tools and generative AI technologies. This role involves collaborating with top creatives, designers, and engineers to push the boundaries of computational photography and multi-modal image editing. The position is highly visible and impactful, requiring a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in machine learning and a passion for photography and aesthetics.

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field.
• 5+ years of significant industry experience delivering products using computational photography and machine learning technologies.
• Extensive knowledge in machine learning and deep learning techniques, particularly multimodal LLMs, Mixture of Experts, PEFT, and RLHF.
• Strong programming skills in high-level languages like Python and experience with deep learning toolkits such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
• Experience delivering customer-facing products with computer vision, computational photography, or generative AI features.
• Publications at major conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR.

• Work on pioneering technologies to develop innovative creative editing tools.
• Collaborate effectively across organizations to drive alignment in large cross-functional projects.
• Build, evaluate, and deploy vision LLMs or instruction-following image editing models.
• Optimize models and algorithms for efficient performance on resource-constrained platforms.
• Contribute to large codebases while delivering high-quality software at scale.
• Communicate concisely with audiences of different backgrounds, from non-technical individuals to experts in the field.
