Job description

This role is focused on providing IT support within Amazon Operations, ensuring the reliability of infrastructure and technology. The team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and fostering solutions to operational challenges. Candidates will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining various IT systems while collaborating with management and staff. The position requires a self-motivated individual who can manage local technical projects and support customers across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with Windows Server technologies including AD, DFS, Print Services, and SCCM.
  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation.
  • 1+ years of experience in IT client, server, and network service delivery.
  • 2+ years of experience in networking including DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting corporate Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in computer networking.
  • Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform network engineering and troubleshooting, data cabling, and systems administration in various software and hardware environments.
  • Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
  • Interact with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions.
  • Manage local technical projects effectively.
  • Maintain or create policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Identify root causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
  • Move up to 49lbs and stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
  • Support customers from multiple buildings in the area as well as remote customers.
  • Travel within the local or regional area to support customers.
