The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of sensing devices and firmware capabilities. This role involves architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining hardware and firmware while ensuring high-quality sensor integration. The engineer will play a crucial role in launching innovative product features.

• M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
• 8+ years of firmware and device driver development in bare-metal or RTOS environments, ideally in consumer electronics.
• 5+ years of sensing system hardware engineering experience with various sensing technologies.
• Proven experience in a leadership role with strong decision-making and team management skills.
• Strong coding skills in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience in optimizing software for resource-constrained embedded systems.

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain hardware and firmware for Apple home and audio products.
