Amazon Robotics is looking for an Electrical Test Engineer to join the Hardware Test Engineering team, focusing on next-generation robotic system design. The role involves planning, designing, executing, and documenting testing of electrical systems and components. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to develop test strategies aimed at improving product quality and automation. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and innovative problem-solving skills to ensure the reliability of robotic products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience with prototyping and implementation.
- 4+ years of technical engineering experience.
- Experience developing test strategies and plans for complex hardware/software systems.
- Experience in hardware lab equipment such as digital scopes and logic analyzers.
- Experience designing test fixtures and automated controls.
- Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with RF measurement equipment.
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience identifying and solving complex problems through data analysis.
- Basic programming experience in a high-level programming language such as Python.
Responsibilities
- Meet with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop test plans.
- Collaborate with other Test Engineers and developers regarding testing tools and techniques.
- Develop test fixtures and execution strategies.
- Document test reports and ensure adherence to requirements.
- Drive continuous process improvement and implement new solutions.
