This role involves working as a software engineer on Kiro, an AI coding agent developed by AWS that enhances software development processes. You will collaborate with a talented team to solve complex problems at the intersection of AI and software engineering. The position emphasizes leading critical systems and shaping technical direction while ensuring reliability and security standards are met. Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and code reviews
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities

- Orchestrate AI workflows across multiple models
- Build context systems to enhance interaction intelligence
- Lead critical systems and define technical direction for new capabilities
