Job description
Join the EKS etcd team at Amazon, where you will contribute to the development of a distributed key-value store that supports Kubernetes. This role focuses on enhancing ultra-scale AI/ML infrastructure, enabling advanced model training and inference. You will play a key role in defining the team's strategy and future roadmap. We seek technically strong engineers who are proactive and take ownership of their systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Help define the strategy for the EKS etcd team and lay the foundations for the future roadmap
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new and existing systems
- Engage in the full software development life cycle, ensuring high coding standards and effective code reviews
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the performance and reliability of the distributed key-value store
