The Staff Software Engineer for AI Interactions will work on developing next-generation technologies that enhance user interactions with AI-powered devices such as glasses and VR headsets. This role is part of a team focused on creating intuitive and accessible information experiences, leveraging advancements in AI and XR. The engineer will lead technical roadmaps and collaborate with various teams to drive innovative solutions. This position offers the opportunity to tackle complex engineering challenges in a rapidly evolving field.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience with iOS application development.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
- 1 year of experience with AI and agentic development.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team to own and drive the technical road map, implementation, and delivery of critical features for next-generation Augmented Reality devices.
- Empower the team to collaborate across organizations and cross-functionally with UX, product, design, and research.
- Evaluate and develop technologies and their product applications to support next-generation product features.
- Foster technical excellence and guide junior engineers in adopting standard procedures for software development and architecture.
- Drive code quality, testing strategies, and ensure long-term maintainability.
