The team plays a critical role in managing large-scale data solutions that support various Google services. The manager will navigate complex technical challenges and influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
• 5 years of experience in software development.
• 4 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field is preferred.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, actively supporting their career development.
• Provide technical leadership to guide the team in designing, developing, and deploying a highly scalable Persistent Disk I/O stack.
• Partner with and influence cross-functional stakeholders across Persistent Disk and Google Compute Engine to drive strategic initiatives.
• Navigate ambiguity to define, scope, and solve complex technical challenges.
