The Lead Security Engineer at DoorDash will serve as the primary cybersecurity partner for the Customer Support and Integrity teams. This role focuses on establishing a dedicated security team to protect DoorDash's global support workforce and technologies. The engineer will be responsible for developing security strategies and executing them to mitigate risks associated with support agents and tooling. This position is remote within the US and reports directly to the Chief of Staff, Global Security.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a security engineer in enterprise security, corporate security, or infrastructure security.
- Proven track record designing and implementing security solutions at scale for support and sales populations.
- Experience working directly with third-party support organizations such as call centers and Business Process Outsourcers.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code tooling like Terraform.
- Expertise with cloud infrastructure and management in GCP and AWS.
Responsibilities
- Establish the vision, strategy, and success metrics for the Customer Support and Integrity Security function.
- Lead the technical direction and roadmap execution for Customer Support and Integrity Security.
- Work directly with various teams to enact security strategies for DoorDash's support tooling and agents.
- Design and operationalize security controls to reduce risk and promote secure solutions.
- Perform security testing and validation of support teams, processes, and systems.
