Job description

The Vice President of Software Engineering at Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, TX, is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting data pipelines and scalable APIs that deliver accurate business data. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related role, or a Bachelor's degree in the same fields and four years of experience.
  • Experience in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
  • Proficiency in Python or Java.
  • Experience in developing and supporting ETL jobs and data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) including SQL.
  • Familiarity with control systems such as Subversion (SVN) or Git.
  • Experience with cloud platforms including Snowflake, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience working with project management tools including JIRA.
