Job description
Arcadis is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project, a significant infrastructure initiative in the United States. This role involves field supervision, compliance, documentation, quality assurance, and coordination to ensure successful project delivery. The team is dedicated to enhancing mobility and resiliency in the Northeast Corridor. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction management, field engineering, or inspection on large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with site supervision and field management, supporting the oversight of all construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with construction management plans, safety and security protocols, and project requirements.
- Monitor and document daily construction activities, including safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Support the development and implementation of environmental monitoring and compliance programs.
- Assist with project controls, including schedule management, cost estimating, and budget tracking.
- Support the implementation of quality management plans and conduct quality audits.
- Participate in meetings, technical briefings, and coordination sessions with project management, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Assist with the implementation of safety management plans and procedures.
- Assist with package and contract close-out, including punch-list resolution and warranty tracking.
