In this role, you will serve as a technical owner, leading the design and implementation of scalable data architectures for AI systems. You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, mentoring junior colleagues while tackling complex challenges. Your focus will be on architecting innovative AI solutions and integrating machine learning capabilities into client projects. This position offers the opportunity to grow as a leader within a global Data Engineering community.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a data engineering role
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL
- Strong experience building Agentic AI, Generative AI, and Machine Learning systems
- Deep knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps including CI/CD for data workflows
- Exceptional time management and ability to own technical workstreams autonomously
- Strong communication skills in English and local office language(s)
Responsibilities
- Design and lead the implementation of scalable data architectures for AI systems
- Develop robust data pipelines and manage secure data environments
- Mentor junior colleagues and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Integrate machine learning and Generative AI capabilities into client solutions
- Spearhead the design of complex feature engineering workstreams
- Lead the creation of innovative enterprise-grade machine learning systems
- Drive the adoption of software engineering best practices within the team
