The Assurance Advisor role at EY focuses on providing audit services within the Financial Services Office. As a Manager, you will lead diverse teams and ensure quality client services while building long-term relationships. Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.
- Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.
- Must have 2 years of experience in engagement management, engagement execution and reporting, and client relationship building.
- Must have 2 years of experience supervising audit teams and planning, executing, and reporting on audits.
- Must have 1 year of experience using audit documentation software.
- Must have an active US CPA certificate or a foreign certificate in accountancy with sufficient coursework/experience to obtain US CPA certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide audit services that demonstrate real value beyond regulatory mandates.
- Plan and perform audit procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAS and PCAOB regulations.
- Identify accounting and auditing issues in a timely manner and provide insights to clients.
- Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds to deliver quality client services.
- Cultivate business development opportunities and maintain long-term client relationships.
