As a Cryogenic Plant Engineer at IBM, you will be integral to the design, installation, commissioning, and operation of helium refrigeration plants. • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a master's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of the behavior of materials at cryogenic temperatures.
• Understanding of design and operational principles of helium refrigeration plants.
• Ability to interpret process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with ASME and similar codes related to pressure vessels and process piping.

• Participate in the design and installation of helium refrigeration plants.
• Assist in the procurement of cryogenic equipment in collaboration with vendors.
• Support the commissioning and testing of helium refrigeration plants and associated equipment.
• Operate helium refrigeration plants and ensure their optimal performance.
• Develop and execute cryogenic test programs, including documentation and reporting of results.
