Job description

The Quantum Computing Systems Engineer will join the IBM Quantum team to advance the development of fault-tolerant quantum computers. This role involves collaborating with infrastructural technology teams and offers exposure to various domains such as signal delivery and control electronics. Requirements

  • Master's degree in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Strong technical communication skills are essential.
  • PhD in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical expertise in areas such as complex circuit testing, low noise measurement, and microwave electronics is preferred.
  • Leadership experience in technical product, program, or personnel management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement cross-team integration and test plans.
  • Establish best practices for engineering documentation, requirements tracking, and change control.
  • Collaborate with infrastructural technology teams to accelerate progress in quantum computing.
  • Provide broad exposure to various technical domains related to quantum computing.
