The Oracle Cloud Financials Architect role at IBM Consulting is a senior position focused on leading Oracle ERP implementations for public sector clients across the United States. This role requires a strong leader who can architect solutions and drive project success while maximizing sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on Oracle Cloud Financials. This position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S. and requires travel to client sites as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of ERP implementation experience.
- Experience as a Senior Solution Architect on at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementation projects in the USA Public Sector.
- Knowledge of GASB Accounting and Reporting, Encumbrance Accounting, and Fund Accounting.
- Strong communication skills to interact with technical peers and executive management.
Responsibilities
- Support client engagements by providing subject matter expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.
- Design and ensure the successful implementation of full solutions for Oracle Cloud ERP projects.
- Lead implementation teams during testing cycles and ensure completeness in testing scenarios and scripts.
- Identify opportunities for new business and assist in creating change orders.
- Participate in strategic planning activities and business case development.
