Job description

The Oracle Cloud Financials Architect role at IBM Consulting is a senior position focused on leading Oracle ERP Cloud implementations. The architect will work closely with clients to design and implement financial solutions that meet their specific needs. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive project success while also identifying new business opportunities. The position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States, with travel required to support client engagements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of ERP implementation experience
  • Experience as a Senior Solution Architect on at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementation projects in the USA Public Sector domain
  • Knowledge of GASB Accounting and Reporting, Encumbrance Accounting, Fund Accounting, and Projects and Grants Accounting
  • Hands-on experience in designing and building modular, scalable, testable enterprise systems in Oracle Cloud Financials
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Support client engagements by providing subject matter expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.
  • Assume accountability for the solution design and successful implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP projects.
  • Lead the implementation team in executing testing cycles and ensure completeness in testing scenarios and scripts.
  • Identify opportunities for new or follow-on business and assist in creating change orders.
  • Participate in strategic planning activities and business case development.
