The Data Engineer position at IBM Quantum focuses on designing and operating data pipelines that enhance insights into quantum hardware performance and system reliability. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including quantum hardware and product teams, to transform technical datasets into reliable analytics. The engineer will ensure the seamless flow of data and contribute to the development of IBM Quantum's Lakehouse. This position is integral to guiding decision-making across IBM Quantum's roadmap.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a master's degree preferred.
• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL, particularly with PostgreSQL and Presto.
• Familiarity with orchestration workflows in Apache Airflow.
• Knowledge of data transformations using Python and related libraries.

• Design and implement Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes for data transfer.
• Develop and maintain efficient ETL processes to ensure accurate data flow.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data integration issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate and improve data integration solutions for efficiency.
• Integrate multiple technical data sources into trusted analytical datasets.
