Job description

The Senior Sentinel and Security Copilot Security Consultant role at IBM Consulting focuses on enhancing client security postures through effective strategies and operations. This position requires expertise in security intelligence and operations, particularly with tools like Microsoft Sentinel and Security Copilot. The consultant will work closely with clients to address key security issues and vulnerabilities while articulating the value of IBM's security solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations and threat landscapes with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR, each with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies applied to security use cases for at least 2 years.
  • Excellent consulting and communication skills in client-facing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and recommend effective security strategies and mitigation measures.
  • Enhance client security posture through proactive threat hunting and intelligence-driven defense strategies.
  • Articulate IBM's SIOC and SIEM points of view to clients, including financial implications.
  • Analyze various cyber threats and develop effective mitigation measures.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on security intelligence and operations.
