The role involves working as a Thermal/Mechanical Engineer within the AWS Hardware Engineering Mechanical/Thermal/Robotics team, focusing on the design and development of server platforms. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in thermal and mechanical design of server technologies
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Experience with the project management of technical projects
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and thermal design and development for complex electronic systems
- Design and validate systems and subsystems to meet program objectives
- Participate in the cross-discipline design process working with other HW and SW team members to develop optimized integrated solutions
- Conduct failure analysis and solution validation for product development and fleet systems
- Manage interaction with overseas resources
- Provide mentorship and technical reviews to a team of mechanical/thermal design engineers
