NVIDIA is seeking system safety engineers to develop safe, AI-powered autonomous driving systems. The role involves applying V-Model methodologies across various disciplines including AI, computer vision, and software architecture. Engineers will work closely with diverse teams to derive and validate functional and safety requirements. This position requires a hands-on approach to systems engineering and a commitment to mentoring development teams.
Requirements
- BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of proven industry experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in process definition, improvement, implementation, and roll-out
Responsibilities
- Work closely with diverse teams to derive functional and safety requirements from use cases and driving modes
- Contribute to architecture decomposition and validation while mentoring teams in requirements processes
- Guide teams in system safety engineering methodologies for development and verification
- Collaborate with other teams on V-Model process improvements and support alignment to customer requirement management processes
- Apply MBSE development methods to safety and security functions
