This position involves designing, developing, testing, and debugging software tools and methodologies for design automation in hardware product development. The role is part of the Intel Foundry team, which focuses on cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technologies. Candidates will work closely with teams to capture user requirements and automate processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and experience with industry-standard EDA tools.

• Master's degree with 2+ years of experience or a PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Must have the required degree or expect to obtain it by September 2026.
• 6+ months of experience in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or C++.
• Experience working in Linux environments and with version management systems.

• Capture user stories and requirements for software tools.
• Write both functional and test code to ensure software quality.
• Automate build and deployment processes.
• Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of software tools.
