Job description
The Systems Development Engineer II role within the Analytics team focuses on delivering AWS cloud analytics services while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This position requires innovative problem-solving skills and a strong foundation in Linux and networking. The team is dedicated to expanding analytics services and driving automation investments across AWS regions. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and be able to work on complex technical issues.
Requirements
- Strong Linux and networking fundamentals with experience in large scale, distributed environments.
- Deep experience working with systems and software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
- Ability to facilitate deep-dive troubleshooting and lead technical discussions.
Responsibilities
- Build innovative solutions and expand services into GovCloud regions.
- Influence technical strategy and architectural decisions within the team.
- Contribute to ticket resolution and infrastructure improvements.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve contentious issues and harmonize views.
- Develop, build, and operate AWS Agentic AI services for data optimization.
