Job description

The Global Network Engineering Lead at EY is a strategic leadership role focused on defining and driving the network engineering vision for the global enterprise network infrastructure. This position ensures a resilient and high-performing network experience for over 400K users across 650+ offices worldwide. The role involves integrating security principles into network designs and collaborating with various teams to enhance network stability and performance. Additionally, the lead will mentor a high-performing engineering team and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on network evolution and modernization priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in network technology support
  • CCNP certification preferred, with additional certifications like Versa or CCIE being a value add
  • Deep expertise in enterprise networking, including routing and switching technologies
  • Strong hands-on capability in WiFi and RF design

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the global network engineering strategy across WAN, LAN, WiFi, and internet edge domains.
  • Partner with product owners to develop and execute a multi-year network roadmap.
  • Drive context-aware network design by adapting global standards to site-specific factors.
  • Collaborate with Network Operations to translate service instability patterns into design improvements.
  • Establish and continuously evolve global network standards and reference architectures.
