Job description

The role at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. focuses on architecting, designing, implementing, verifying, and optimizing the performance and power of GPU cores. The team is responsible for verification of Graphics IP and conducting pre- and post-silicon verification to ensure performance and power goals are met. Candidates will engage with various inter-disciplinary teams and apply creative problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical challenges. The position requires collaboration with architecture, software, firmware, and validation teams to develop test methodologies and content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
  • 5+ years of experience in Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
  • Proficiency in System Verilog, UVM, Verilog or VHDL, and C/C++.
  • Experience with constrained random and functional coverage development.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, implement, and verify the structure and performance of GPU hardware and software.
  • Create and maintain verification test benches and environments in System Verilog/UVM.
  • Collaborate with various teams to define and develop test methodology and content.
  • Collect, organize, and execute various forms of system-level test content.
  • Build automation for continuous integration and testing based on the latest GPU IP.
  • Analyze test results using straightforward statistics to track benchmarks and identify issues.
