This position is within Qualcomm's Post Silicon Engineering group, focusing on developing test solutions for highly integrated System on Chips (SOCs). The engineer will define and execute test methodologies and characterize high-speed SERDES interfaces. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for chip bring-up and debugging. The role also involves optimizing design parameters and validating electrical compliance for various interfaces.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Good understanding of VLSI technologies and semiconductor physics
• Familiarity with High Speed test and characterization methods
• Experience with lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes and TDRs/VNAs is preferred

• Define and execute the development of test methodologies for high-speed interfaces
• Develop and execute characterization plans to optimize design parameters
• Drive first silicon bring-up and debug to qualify designs fabricated at external foundries
• Assist in hardware design and debug power integrity and signal integrity issues
• Collaborate with Customer Engineering and Hardware Applications teams to resolve customer issues
