Job description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years.
  • 4+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • 12+ years of experience in architecting complex embedded systems or automotive SoC software/systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define the software and system architecture for Qualcomm's Automotive SoC products.
  • Collaborate with product management, customers, and hardware architecture teams to understand system requirements and use cases.
  • Engage in systems engineering of complex use cases involving software and hardware components across multiple technology domains.
  • Evaluate architectural options and trade-offs and develop architecture proposals and specifications.
  • Continuously review and apply the latest innovations from different business units within Qualcomm to the Automotive SoCs.
