Qualcomm is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer for its Data Center Business Unit. The role focuses on designing, developing, and commercializing software and firmware solutions for Cloud Edge and Data Center machine learning applications. The engineer will collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to advance technologies such as ML acceleration and memory management. Candidates should have a strong background in embedded software development and a passion for working on high-performance silicon.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD.
- 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- 2+ years of work experience with low level C programming.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of software and firmware solutions for machine learning use cases.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to advance critical technologies.
- Develop and debug embedded software including board support packages and device drivers.
- Utilize development and build tools for applications running within an Embedded Linux environment.
- Perform unit testing for C development and contribute to structured software development processes.
