Qualcomm is seeking a Graphics Software Engineer to join their Engineering Group, focusing on GPU hardware, drivers, and applications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance next-generation gaming, XR, and AI experiences. The engineer will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and optimizing GPU performance. This position requires a strong foundation in programming and graphics knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages suitable for graphics, such as C++ or C.
- Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
- 1+ year of relevant GPU experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Apply graphics knowledge to assist in the architecture, design, implementation, and verification of GPU hardware, drivers, features, applications, and tools.
- Write code for well-defined features, drivers, and APIs using different programming languages.
- Maintain comprehensive pre- and post-silicon tests to verify performance.
- Identify deficiencies in designs and collaborate with team members to develop solutions.
- Write detailed design documentation and feature descriptions for projects.
