As an AI Software Engineer at Qualcomm, you will lead the development of machine learning techniques and frameworks for the Qualcomm AI Stack, focusing on IoT applications. You will be responsible for the software design and development of the Qualcomm AI Runtime SDK, ensuring efficient execution of advanced AI architectures. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust AI software solutions while guiding junior team members. Your expertise will contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the AI Software team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 6+ years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• 8+ years of industry and general software development experience.
• Proficiency in software development using C/C++.
• Experience with Linux or Unix based OS systems software development environment.
• Strong software development skills including data structure and algorithm design.
• Ability to work independently with no supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Lead the team responsible for ensuring AI SDK support for various IoT product platforms.
• Drive feature development and enhancements for the Qualcomm AI Stack SDKs.
• Collaborate with the AI software team and other teams within Qualcomm to support IoT platforms.
• Provide supervision and guidance to other team members.
• Participate in strategic planning for integrating Qualcomm AI Stack SDKs into IoT products.
• Stay updated with fast-paced developments in industry and academia to enhance solutions.
