Job description

As a Qualcomm GPU Engineer, you will be involved in the architecture, design, implementation, verification, and optimization of GPU cores. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and enhance the performance and power efficiency of GPU products. You will also assist in developing driver and compiler software while ensuring alignment with project goals. The position is open for various locations, including remote work options.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
  • 10+ years of compiler experience or 10+ years of compiler and GPU-related experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership.
  • 1+ year in a technical leadership role with direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Apply GPU knowledge to assist in the architecture, design, implementation, verification, and optimization of GPU cores.
  • Build functional model simulations, develop software, and test for various graphics to verify correctness.
  • Program and run graphics tests using tools and methods to assess functionality, performance, and power.
  • Collaborate with team members to guide implementation and ensure alignment with needs and goals.
  • Assist in the development of driver and compiler software to support GPU products.
  • Write technical documentation and feature descriptions for GPU projects.
