As a Qualcomm Modem Technology Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, verifying, validating, and commercializing Wireless WAN modem air interface software. You will work within a team to develop high-quality modem IP that meets industry standards and customer requirements. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective and high-performance solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the modem IP architecture and related technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 1+ year of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
• 1+ year of applicable experience in the wireless, semiconductor, or embedded software industry.
• 6+ months of WWAN modem development specific experience.

• Assist in the design, implementation, verification, validation, and commercialization of Wireless WAN modem air interface software.
• Support the implementation of transceiver, HW control, and wireless Radio Access Stratum software for multi-RAT technologies.
• Apply knowledge of RF and WWAN L1/L2/L3 specifications in the development of multi-mode modem resources.
• Develop models and simulations to design well-defined components.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high performance and cost-effectiveness of modem IP.
• Create test cases to verify design and validate modem against specifications.
• Write technical documentation and feature descriptions for Modem Tech software projects.
