Job description

The Program Analyst at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. plays a crucial role in managing processes and tools to enhance program efficiencies. This position involves coordinating across teams to monitor timelines, budgets, and risks associated with significant hardware programs. The analyst will work closely with internal customers and third parties to ensure compliance with guidelines and track program status updates. The role requires a flexible work schedule to accommodate collaboration with teams in Asia.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or a High School Diploma with 1+ year of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience creating, scheduling, and maintaining program plans or related experience is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with program management tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly coordinate with internal customers and third parties on complex hardware programs to identify and meet demand.
  • Prepare chipset and platform status for core meetings and document key discussion points and project plan changes.
  • Contribute to and update project plans to support hardware planning, build, and distribution.
  • Manage Hardware Test Platform builds by working with Hardware Engineering support teams and internal manufacturing facilities.
  • Collect, compile, monitor, and maintain budget data, identifying potential issues and communicating them to the Chipset/Hardware Program Manager.
  • Coordinate chipset and platform allocations and deliveries following proper project management practices.
  • Manage and communicate changes in program timelines, priorities, and deliverables to stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and issues throughout the program lifecycle and communicate them to the Hardware Program Manager.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data and program metrics using advanced tools.
  • Maintain and update databases using advanced aspects of data management tools.
  • Synthesize moderately complex data and metrics into a summary of key trends and present results in an understandable report.
  • Gather feedback and implement improvements to assigned planning processes, tools, and methods.
