Job description

The Qualcomm Cloud AI team is seeking an innovative engineer to develop software solutions for Inference Acceleration. This role involves working across the entire product life cycle, from early R&D to commercial deployment, in a fast-paced environment that requires strong communication and planning skills. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in machine learning and performance optimization. The position offers opportunities for engineers at multiple levels in systems, software, integration, and testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 8+ years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years.
  • Proven ability to plan, manage, and deliver large commercial software projects.
  • Strong development skills in PyTorch and experience with serving frameworks like vLLM.
  • Experience in executing, analyzing, and optimizing neural networks.
  • Strong skills in analyzing performance of software/hardware solutions on multi-core architectures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions for Inference Acceleration.
