·FY 2025Job description
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior-level Low Power Chip Architect/System Engineer with expertise in mixed-signal IC and system design. This high-impact role involves defining architecture, driving transistor-level design, and enabling system-level integration of ultra-low-power integrated circuits for Robotics and Industrial IoT applications. The successful candidate will lead programs from initial architecture through to silicon bring-up while collaborating cross-functionally. The position requires onsite presence in San Diego, five days a week.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of ASIC design experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years.
- Strong expertise in low-power analog and mixed-signal IC design.
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso and related analog design tools.
- Proficiency with Spectre, HSPICE, and board-level simulation methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience as a Chip Lead, System Architect, or Technical Lead.
Responsibilities
- Define and support end-to-end system architecture across analog, digital, firmware, and system domains.
- Drive architectural trade-offs across power, performance, noise, latency, and silicon area.
- Lead feasibility studies and transistor-level design of mixed-signal building blocks.
- Develop behavioral and system-level models to evaluate noise, linearity, and SNR.
- Support post-silicon bring-up, characterization, and reliability qualification.
Benefits
- Qualcomm offers competitive compensation, annual bonuses, stock programs, comprehensive healthcare coverage, retirement plans, wellness programs, parental leave, flexible work options, and professional development opportunities.
