Job description

The role at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. focuses on defining, designing, and developing complex radio frequency integrated circuits for wireless applications. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in designing RF/Analog circuits for wireless products or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of related experience.
  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field is also acceptable.
  • 3+ years of experience in transistor level design of RF analog integrated circuits.
  • 2+ years of academic or professional experience using software such as CADENCE, Virtuoso, or ADS.

Responsibilities

  • Determine circuit-level specifications based on system-level requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Develop the architecture and design of one or more blocks based on specifications using technical expertise.
  • Run simulations to assess circuit performance under various circumstances.
  • Independently floor-plan layout and work with layout engineers to generate and verify circuit layouts.
  • Write test plans and review test results to assess performance and identify bugs.
  • Collaborate with team members to generate new ideas and write clear technical documentation.
