Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking candidates for its camera firmware team in San Diego, CA. The team focuses on imaging system design and development for mobile devices, emphasizing both high and low-tier products. The ideal candidate will possess technical excellence in embedded system development and demonstrate creativity in applying their knowledge to new camera technologies. This role involves working on embedded camera driver design and the commercialization of innovative camera features.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
• Strong experience with C/C++ programming.
• Experience with microcontroller architecture, RTOS, and/or ARM architecture.
• Familiarity with Android, JTAG, ADB, and version control.
• Strong background in digital signal processing and digital image processing.
• Experience with developing and implementing image processing algorithms is preferred.

• Design and develop embedded low-level camera drivers.
• Work throughout the firmware life cycle.
• Engage in end-to-end systems development.
• Prototype and commercialize new camera features and technologies.
