Job description

As a Qualcomm Camera Engineer, you will engage in innovative projects that enhance human and computer vision technologies across various domains including Mobile, Automotive, XR, IoT, and Compute. This role involves collaborating with design, software, and firmware teams to develop optimal imaging solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
  • Experience with design verification defining test plans and developing verification infrastructure using object-oriented programming.
  • Expertise with hardware verification languages such as System Verilog and UVM.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in technical discussions across design, software, and firmware teams to influence imaging solutions.
  • Implement test benches to adapt to new requirements using object-oriented concepts and UVM methodology.
  • Write parameterized and scalable verification plans and develop complex constraints and sequences.
  • Verify functionality and ensure use-case power and performance KPIs are met.
  • Utilize simulation, formal, assertion, and emulation flows to achieve functional and code coverage.
  • Debug complex issues across multiple verification platforms and write clear technical documentation.
