As a Qualcomm AI Software Engineer, you will develop and implement advanced machine learning techniques to enhance the Qualcomm AI Stack features within the Qualcomm AI Runtime SDK. This role focuses on optimizing runtime efficiency, latency, and power consumption for AI applications on low-power AI accelerators. You will work on core software components, including Generative AI Inference Extensions, and contribute to the execution of deep neural networks and large language models. The position offers an opportunity to demonstrate your software design and development skills in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
- Proficiency in software development using C/C++.
- Experience with development in a Linux environment.
- Strong software development skills, including data structure and algorithm design.
Responsibilities
- Develop software for the Qualcomm AI Stack SDKs, specifically QAIRT and Genie.
- Design and implement core components of Qualcomm AI Stack runtime framework for inference on resource-constrained AI systems.
- Validate, analyze, and optimize the performance and accuracy of software through detailed testing.
- Debug complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure high system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable AI software solutions.
