Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Director/Principal level Customer Project Engineer for the Automotive Software Platform team. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of automotive software projects, from concept to completion, while ensuring quality standards are met. The engineer will interface with OEM engineering executives and Qualcomm's leadership, representing customer needs and driving alignment across various teams. The position requires strong technical leadership and the ability to manage complex software engineering projects effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years.
• 4+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Extensive experience in software engineering, including project management and leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Proven experience as a customer-facing technical leader.

• Lead and manage automotive software engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Act as the chief technical counterpart to the OEM's engineering leadership for all Cockpit (IVI), ADAS and related programs.
• Coordinate and synchronize Qualcomm internal engineering teams to meet customer milestones.
• Drive resolution of critical technical issues, ensuring timely escalation and clear communication.
• Represent the customer's priorities and pain points in internal reviews and management meetings.
